Privacy policy.
What we collect, why, who processes it, and how you delete all of it.
The short version
- We collect what you give us to run the product: your name, email, your answers, and what you upload.
- We never sell your data, never share it with recruiters or employers, and never use it to train AI models.
- AI tools send the text you submit to Anthropic to generate the answer, under terms that bar them from training on it.
- One button in your profile deletes your account, your files and your sign-in. Gone means gone.
Who we are
BOLDr Careers is a product of TechBiz LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy covers boldrcareers.com and the app at boldrcareers.com/app.html. Questions go to hello@boldrcareers.com.
What we collect

We do not collect payment card numbers. When paid plans are available, payments are handled by our payment processor, who sees the card; we only see that a payment succeeded.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data, ever.
- We do not share it with recruiters, employers or data brokers.
- We do not use your data, or let anyone else use it, to train AI models.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on the app.
Who processes your data for us
A small number of providers run parts of the service on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to doing that:
- Supabase: our database, file storage and sign-in. Your data is stored with them, encrypted at rest.
- Anthropic: when you run an AI tool, the text you submit is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the answer. Anthropic does not train on API data by default.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Resend: sends our emails, such as sign-in links and password resets.
- GitHub Pages: hosts the website.
- HaveIBeenPwned: when you set a password, we check whether it has appeared in a known breach. Only the first five characters of a one-way hash of the password leave your browser; the password itself never does.
These providers are based in the United States, so your data is processed there.
Cookies and storage on your device
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The app stores a few items in your browser's local storage so it works: your signed-in session, and copies of some of your progress so the app loads quickly. Signing out or deleting your account clears them.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your files, your rows in our database and your sign-in are deleted at that moment. Copies in our providers' routine backups expire on their normal schedule, typically within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- See and change it: everything you have given us is visible and editable in the app.
- Delete everything: Profile, Delete my account. It removes your account, your files and your sign-in, and cannot be undone.
- Get a copy: email us and we will send you your data in a common format within 30 days.
- Ask us anything: hello@boldrcareers.com. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union, you may have additional rights, and we honour them whatever your location.
Security
Every table is locked so each person can only read their own rows, your files sit in private storage under your account, our AI key never leaves our servers, and all traffic is encrypted. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you promptly.
Age
BOLDr Careers is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top says when it last changed.
